Preventative care in the form of dental prophylaxis in conjunction with daily brushing and dental treats can help prevent the progression of dental disease. Our hospitals are equipped with ultrasonic dental machines which are similar to the dental machines your family dentist uses. Our experienced veterinarians and certified veterinary technicians are able to perform a thorough dental exam and cleaning on your pet. If our veterinarians deem necessary, dental extractions or other dental procedures may also be performed during these visits. Dental procedures are performed in the morning and patients are discharged after anesthetic recovery in the afternoon.
