Kim
Kim, an Elmhurst College graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music, joined the Village Veterinary Practice team as
a Veterinary Assistant in 2006. When Kim is not assisting with the care of our clients and patients, she can usually be found at the
horse barn. As a horseback riding instructor, Kim teaches beginning dressage and enjoys riding her two horses, Kenora and Julie. Kim’s
other pets include a Golden Retriever – Maddux and three cats – Orange Whip Ernie, Butterwinkle and Snowbert. She also has three chinchillas
– Tails, Cha-Cha and Charlotte.
Dan
Dan has been a Veterinary Assistant with Village Veterinary Practice since 2003 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Communications from the University of Hartford. Dan is a big Star Wars fan, and also loves Soccer (go Chicago Fire!), comic books,
music, reading and writing. During Dan’s free time he can be found having fun with his two Australian Shepherds – Six and Derry.
Danielle L.
Danielle (aka Dani) has been a Veterinary Assistant with Village Veterinary Practice since 2008 but has been working
in the veterinary field since 2006. Danielle holds an Associates degree in Motion Picture Production/Sound Design which she earned
from Scottsdale Community College in Arizona. During Danielle’s spare time she enjoys traveling, reading and playing video games.
Danielle’s shares her home with three cats – Khan, Isis and Ser Pounce-a-lot.

Jim
Jim has been a Veterinary Assistant with Village Veterinary Practice since 2004. Jim graduated from Northeastern Illinois University in
2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. During Jim’s free time, he can be found outside camping, boating, jet skiing, and
playing sports. His four legged friends at home include Falcon - a Doberman Pinscher and Mr. Bo Jangles - a Chinchilla.
Cheryl
Cheryl became part of the VVP family in 2003 as the Western Springs Animal Clinic transitioned to become Village
Veterinary Practice. Cheryl brings many years of experience to her Veterinary Assistant position and is currently working to earn
her certification as a Veterinary Technician. Cheryl earned her Bachelor of Science degree from North Central College and enjoys cooking/baking,
fishing, reading and walking in her personal time. Cheryl’s family would not be complete without their fun loving Golden Retriever
named Tracker.
Kevin
Kevin joined our team as a Veterinary Assistant in 2010 after graduating from Oberlin College in Ohio with a Bachelors
degree in Biology. Eventually, Kevin plans to move on to pursue his Ph. D. in a wildlife related field. In his spare
time, Kevin can been found at the gym, hanging out by Lake Michigan or cooking. Kevin and his family share their home with their
six animals! On one hand they have three dogs - Rudy, Alfy and Zoe and on the other hand they have three cats - Mia, Camille
and Imani.
Kelli
Kelli graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2010 with a Bachelors degree in Science and Environmental Biology.
She joined the Village Veterinary Practice team in 2011 with future plans of becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. Kelli
has a strong interest in entomology, and also enjoys scrapbooking and spending time outdoors. She shares her household
with a large, talkative orange cat named Nicholas
