At Village Veterinary Practice, each patient is thoroughly evaluated prior to anesthesia and a customized anesthetic
plan is developed to minimize your pet’s stress and risk during his or her procedure. Prior to any anesthetic event, we perform
pre-anesthetic testing that may include blood tests, urine tests, electrocardiograms and radiographs to assess for any special needs
your pet may have. During anesthesia, your pet’s blood pressure, heart rate, heart rhythm, temperature, blood oxygen saturation and
breathing pattern will be closely monitored to ensure your pet’s safety.
